The food was delicious, the service friendly, the prices good. Wish we could go weekly, but we live on the west coast.

This is one of our neighborhood restaurants, we love going there for the croquetas and Tamales. We absolutely loved today's tamales, their Cuban sandwich was a hit too, I wish they wouldn't cut it the way they do but it's ok. My dad had the palomilla, it tasted really good and he said the meat was soft and cooked right. This place is nothing out of this world, the ambiance is nice and clean.... but the service it was spectacular. We were attended by a lady named Martha and she was such a attentive and sweet women. She was very knowledgeable in the menu and helps us feel very welcomed, I am definitely going back because of the great service from Martha.

I love this place! We have been going for 15+ years. It's a neighborhood gem. The crema de malanga is one of the best, the croquetas ARE the best & the food is some of the best Cuban food in Miami. Service is always solid and the restaurant is super clean with tons of seating. You must have their cortadito!

First time here we were visiting Miami , it reminded me of El Versailles restaurant, inside a bit upscale look , sitting area is a bit tight , plenty of table servers , complex menus of Latin cuisine . We started with ham crockets they were authentic delicious one of the best I've had so where the tostones they were LG . Fried perfectly with a side garlic dip . For main course we ordered a new salad . A Greek salad topped with with baca frita it was authentic in taste , I just din't like the two together it was a bit to dry , I had to squeeze lime juice and my garlic dip sauce . Great service nice ambiance the place was packed for lunch time I do recommend it ..

This place is a classic staple in Miami. If you grew up here you know about isla canarias. My mom asked me to go here since we were in the area. She always goes to La carreta but today she wanted to switch it up. So we had breakfast here at Islas and we were glad we did. We were sat immediately. You can tell that there are regulars who come here. It wasn't crazy full but it had its fair number of people there. It was during the week too. I suspect that weekends it's ridiculous. We ordered classic breakfasts. Didn't even finish them all but it was absolutely delicious. The food came out super quick. We were in and out in less than 40 minutes. We were able to order eat chill chat and leave. It was great. Definitely picking this place over La carreta!

Stopped here for brunch between doctor appointments. Upon arrival I was seated quickly and given a menu. The ambiance was lively, the server friendly, the food good and the price was surprisingly low.

5 Stars based solely on the croquetas. My good friend was coming to visit me from Miami and she knew that as a former Miamian myself, I yearn for good croquetas. She took the train and packed the party tray of croquetas well and we got to enjoy them when she arrived. In terms of croquetas, these were top notch. They are so wonderfully seasoned that you wouldn't even think of dipping them in any aiolis or sauces. The outside is tender in terms of the breading, and you will shock yourself with how many you can eat in one sitting. From now on, anyone who comes to visit me from Miami has a new directive to bring these to me to freeze and enjoy throughout the month. Can't wait to visit IRL!
